Camilla Maria Skog Henemark aka La Camilla was born on October 23, 1965 in Stockholm (Sweden)

The third member of the original formation is the exotic centrepiece attraction La Camilla. Her father, Austin Obany (lawyer), is of Biafran-Nigerian descent and came to Stockholm as a law student. There he met and married Gerd Henemark (hairdresser), a Swede of Lapp origin. Shortly after the birth of Camilla Maria Skog Henemark, which is her real name, her parents got divorced and she grew up in traditional circumstances, partly in Stockholm, partly in Lapland.

She became a fashion model at age 13. Her striking beauty and six-foot frame brought her continent-wide celebrity. After some years, she successfully launched her own agency, 'Zoo, People & Models', which she still runs and is now one of Scandinavia's biggest. She did some background vocals as a hobby, but hadn't considered joining a band until approached by Alexander and Jean-Pierre.
